The Right Door for Every Side of Your Home

A door has two jobs: keep the wrong people out, and let the right things in — light, air, family, the view of the garden. We've been fitting doors that do both from our Martlesham base since 1999, in homes across Kesgrave, Ipswich, Woodbridge, Felixstowe and throughout Suffolk and Essex — and over 25 years the range has grown to cover every side of the house.

At the front, it's about kerb appeal and security: composite doors with rich woodgrain finishes, uPVC front doors for style on a sensible budget, and bespoke Spitfire aluminium doors when you want something truly special. At the back and into the garden, it's about light and space: aluminium bifolds that fold the wall away, sliding patio doors in aluminium or uPVC for the biggest panes of glass, classic uPVC French doors, and hard-working uPVC back doors for everyday life. Every one is made to measure, fitted by our own installers — never subcontractors — with multipoint locking as standard.

All eight ranges are on this page, A–Z. Each links to its own detailed page with specifications, honest prices and current lead times — and every installation is protected by our 10-year guarantee, with FENSA certification on glazed doors.

Choose Your Door

Eight ranges, A–Z. Not sure where to start? Front of house — look at Composite, uPVC Front or Spitfire. Opening up the back — compare Bifold, Patio and French. Each card links to a full page with specs, prices and lead times.

The Showstopper

Aluminium Bifold Doors

The ultimate indoor-outdoor living upgrade. Slim aluminium panels concertina right back against the wall, opening up to 90% of the aperture — so on a summer's day, the kitchen and the patio become one big room.

Best for: kitchen extensions and garden rooms where you want the whole wall to open — true inside-outside living.
Slimmest Sightlines

Aluminium Patio Doors

Huge, uninterrupted panes of glass in ultra-slim aluminium frames. Because the panels slide rather than fold, you keep a picture-window view of the garden every day of the year — with no swing space needed inside or out.

Best for: contemporary homes and wide openings where the view matters most — maximum glass, minimum frame.
Most Popular Front Door

Composite Doors

The best of every material in one door: a solid, insulating core wrapped in a tough GRP skin with a realistic woodgrain finish that never needs painting. Thick, heavy and reassuringly solid — with kerb appeal to spare.

Best for: front entrances where security, warmth and first impressions all matter — our most requested front door.
The Premium Choice

Spitfire Doors

Bespoke, high-end aluminium entrance doors, engineered like nothing else on the street. Oversized formats, flush designs, premium finishes and smart locking options make a Spitfire door the architectural statement piece of any facade.

Best for: homeowners who want a truly individual entrance — grand designs, renovations and contemporary builds.
The Workhorse

uPVC Back Doors

The door that gets used fifty times a day deserves to be secure, draught-free and easy to live with. Our uPVC back doors are exactly that — practical glazed and panelled designs, multipoint locking, and a wipe-clean finish that shrugs off muddy boots and wet dogs.

Best for: kitchens, utility rooms and side entrances — everyday access without compromise on security or warmth.
The Classic

uPVC French Doors

Timeless for a reason. A pair of elegant double doors swings fully open to the patio, filling the room with light and breeze — and because both leaves open, you get a wide, clear walkway that's perfect for furniture moves and summer parties alike.

Best for: dining rooms, lounges and smaller openings — classic garden access at the friendliest price point.
Best Value Entrance

uPVC Front Doors

Proof that a secure, smart-looking front door doesn't have to break the budget. A huge choice of panel styles, colours and glazing options, built around reinforced frames and multipoint locking — robust, thermally efficient and virtually maintenance-free.

Best for: budget-savvy homeowners and rental properties that still deserve a secure, great-looking entrance.
Best Value Garden Door

uPVC Sliding Patio Doors

The classic sliding door, done properly. Our PatioMaster system glides on a stainless-steel track with Yale multipoint locking and A-rated energy performance as standard — the most glass, and the most light, for the most sensible budget.

Best for: replacing an old slider or opening up a rear wall on a budget — big views without the aluminium price tag.

Did you lock the door? Now you'll always know.

Most of our doors can be fitted with Kubu smart sensors — hidden inside the lock itself — so your phone can tell you, from anywhere, whether your home is locked and secure.

Lead Times

Survey to Installation: Typically 6–8 Weeks

Every door is manufactured to your exact opening, so from your free survey to installation day our typical lead time is 6 to 8 weeks. Here's how it works: we survey and confirm final measurements, your door goes into production, and we book your installation date — the fitting itself is usually completed within a single day, with our team leaving your home spotless. Bespoke colours, special glazing and made-to-order ranges such as Spitfire doors can occasionally extend this — each product page lists its current lead time, and we'll always give you an honest timeline at quotation stage.

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of door do you install?
We install eight door ranges from our Martlesham base. For entrances: composite doors, uPVC front doors, and premium Spitfire aluminium doors. For everyday access: uPVC back doors. And for connecting your home to the garden: aluminium bifold doors, aluminium sliding patio doors, uPVC sliding patio doors and uPVC French doors. Every door is made to measure, professionally installed by our own team, and covered by our 10-year guarantee.
Should I choose bifold doors or sliding patio doors?
It depends on how you'll use the opening. Bifold doors fold right back to open up to 90% of the aperture — unbeatable for true indoor-outdoor living in summer — but have more frames across the glass when closed. Sliding patio doors give you the biggest uninterrupted panes of glass and the clearest garden views all year round, need no swing space, and generally cost less, but only open up part of the aperture. Our consultants can show you both at our Martlesham showroom and help you decide.
What is the difference between a composite door and a uPVC door?
A uPVC door is built around a reinforced uPVC frame and panel — secure, thermally efficient and the most affordable option. A composite door combines several materials, typically a solid or foam core with a tough GRP skin, making it thicker, heavier and more rigid, with a realistic timber look that doesn't fade or need repainting. If you want maximum kerb appeal and solidity for a front entrance, choose composite; if budget is the priority, a modern uPVC door is still an excellent, secure choice.
How secure are your doors?
Security is built into every door we fit. All of our doors feature multipoint locking as standard, with reinforced frames and high-security cylinders, and enhanced specifications such as PAS 24 are available across most ranges. Many of our doors can also be fitted with Kubu smart sensors, so you can check from your phone that your home is locked and secure wherever you are.
How long does a new door take from order to installation?
Every door is manufactured to your exact opening, so from your free survey to installation our typical lead time is 6 to 8 weeks, depending on the range, colour and glazing options you choose. The installation itself is usually completed within a day. Each door's product page lists its current lead time, and we'll confirm an exact timeline with your quotation.
What areas do you install doors in?
We are based in Martlesham and install doors across all surrounding areas including Kesgrave, Ipswich, Woodbridge, Felixstowe, Martlesham Heath, Rushmere St Andrew, and throughout Suffolk and Essex. If you're unsure whether we cover your area, call 01473 614 444.
Are your doors guaranteed?
Yes. Every door installation comes with our comprehensive 10-year installation guarantee, and we are FENSA registered, so glazed door installations are certified as compliant with UK building regulations.
